No need. We organize one group pickup from Cusco Airport around 12pm on Day 1 to take everyone to the Sacred Valley together, so as long as you land in Cusco in time for that, you’re all set. That drive from the Cusco airport is not something you want to figure out solo and jet lagged, trust us.
The one exception: if your international flight lands in Lima the night before, stay at the Wyndham Costa Del Sol Lima Airport Hotel, then catch a morning flight to Cusco in time for the group pickup.
We don’t recommend adding extra days on the front end. Both Lima and Cusco airports are over an hour from the areas where we’d recommend staying, so arriving early usually means more logistics, not more rest. If you want extra time in Peru, add it to the back end instead, so you can arrive with the group, settle in smoothly, and save the independent exploring for after the trip.
