Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ)
ARRIVAL SCHEDULE
On your trip’s start date, the group will meet at the Cusco airport (CUZ) at 11am. We’ll all depart together for the Sacred Valley at 12pm. Plan for your flight to arrive no later than 11am.
DEPARTURE AIRPORT
Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM)
DEPARTURE SCHEDULE
The morning of the last day of your trip we will wake up in Lima, and this is where our trip ends. You can fly out of Lima anytime that day or book an extra night.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR BOOKING FLIGHTS
You have a couple of options for booking your flights, since your trip will start in Cusco and end in Lima.
Book a roundtrip international flight via Lima and a one-way flight to Cusco at the start of the trip. This is often a less expensive option than two one-way flights. There are more flight options with major carriers via LIM compared to CUZ, but you could also do it the other way around (international roundtrip via Cusco and a one-way flight back to Cusco at the end of the trip).
Book two one-way flights. Your first flight will be from your home city to Cusco at the start of the trip, and your second flight will be from Lima to your home city at the end of the trip.
Pro tip: If you find yourself with a long layover at Lima airport, we recommend staying at the airport hotel (it’s nice!) or booking a sleep pod at the airport (also nice, and super convenient). Many flights from North America arrive in the wee hours of the morning, and many domestic flights depart before you’d have time to check into a hotel but longer than you’d want to spend in a terminal, so the airport hotel and sleep pods are both excellent options.
