We are a travel company built on kindness and empathy, so please understand that these policies are meant to be fair for everyone involved - our travelers, our partners, and our business.
A lot of work goes into designing each of our trips. Many of our trips sell out a year in advance, and when you book a spot on a trip, it prevents us from filling that spot with someone else. Our partners also make advance preparations for each traveler and rely on us to confirm details about our travelers months before each trip. So, once we confirm your attendance, it is not fair to them to have you cancel. For the same reason, we cannot permit changes to your booking fewer than 90 days before your trip's start date. We hope you understand :).
Deposits: For all Wild Terrains trips, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required at the time of booking. Payment of the remaining 50% balance is due at least 90 days before your trip's start date.
Changes: At Wild Terrains, we've always believed in flexible booking terms. Life happens. No matter what is going on in the world or your life, you can always change your trip date or destination as long as it's 90 days before your trip's start date. Your first change is on us. Any subsequent changes will incur a $500 change fee per person. If you do not rebook to a new trip immediately, you will have a trip credit that expires in 6 months from the day you cancel your original trip.
Cancellations & Refunds: All payments are non-refundable should you decide to cancel your booking. We do not offer refunds. If you need to change or cancel your trip and you give us at least 90 days notice, any payments made to Wild Terrains will convert into a credit that you can use within the next 6 months. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of your booking so you are protected in the event you need to cancel after the final cancellation deadline.
