Helpful Tips for Booking Flights
If you have a domestic layover before an international flight, especially if that layover is at Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Madrid-Barajas (MAD), make sure you put 2-3 hours layover time between your flights. These airports are huge and getting between terminals and gates often involves tram and bus rides. Sometimes there are lines for inter-terminal transportation. Try to find out ahead of time if you will have to pick up your bags and go through Immigration and Security between flights. Either way, pad your time!
