The morning of the last day of your trip we will be waking up in Porto, Portugal and this is where our trip ends. You can fly out of Porto anytime that day (which has direct flights to New York and many other major cities) instead of going back to Lisbon.
If you would like to fly out of Lisbon, you can take the train back to Lisbon on the morning of the last day of the trip.Trains are super easy in Portugal! The train from Porto to Lisbon runs almost every hour. The trip takes around 3 hours, and costs between €10-30. The departing station will be Porto - Campanha and the arriving station will be Lisboa - Oriente. You can only book the train 2 months out, so you will have to wait until 2 months before your travel date to book your train tickets.
If you take an 8:30am train, you would arrive in Lisbon by noon. Give yourself 30 minutes to taxi to the airport. You would be able to easily make a flight at 3pm or later.
Wild Terrains cannot book your train ticket for you, but you can follow this link to >> Book your train tickets here.
